โœ๏ธ CONTRACT TALK

Isak's New Deal? ๐Ÿ‘‘

Starting with some great news - it looks like the club are really making a big effort to ensure Isakโ€™s future at St Jamesโ€™ Park.

The club reportedly sees Isak as untouchable and are planning to offer him a lucrative new contract to keep him in the Toon long-term.

Despite having three and a half years left on his current deal, the club wants to secure his future and talks are set to resume at the end of the season.

The club has even put a ยฃ150 million price tag on him to deter any potential interest.

In his current form, this eye watering price tag does seems to be about right!

Isakโ€™s season so far ๐Ÿ‘‡

  • 17 Premier League goals, only two behind Mo Salah in the race for the golden boot.

  • 22 direct goal involvements in the Premier League with five assist.

  • PL player of the month for December after scoring eight and assisting two.

  • Reached 50 goals in all competitions for the club in only 89 matches.

โฉ MATCH PREVIEW

Fulham Match Preview โšฝ

With our mission for Champions League football well underway, Newcastle United are set to face Fulham at home this Saturday at 3 pm.

Having won ten of our last eleven matches, a win against Fulham would be our 19th victory of the season.

The last time Fulham won away against Newcastle was in 2017 and of the last 4 encounters at St James Park, Newcastle have been undefeated.

Fulham currently sit mid-table in 10th place, after losing to Man U at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are currently the second most successful team in England when it comes to winning games, having won 18 domestic matches and losing only 6.

After regaining the momentum against Southampton, Newcastle will be looking to take advantage of their form and continue to climb into the top 4 this weekend.

๐Ÿ’ธ TRANSFER RUMOUR

๐Ÿ‘‹ Miggy's Goodbye?

Could we be saying farewell to Almiron? It certainly felt like it during the Southampton game as the fans were singing his name.

Eddie predictably downplayed the gestures, claiming it wasn't planned but an instinctive reaction to the crowd's love for the player.

Almiron has been a dedicated, and at times, brilliant player for the club, always playing with a smile on his face - if the rumours are true, it will certainly be sad to see him go.

His stunning 2022 run of form and that goal against PSG in the Champions League will not be forgotten any time soon.

As of right now, the club has reportedly agreed a fee for a move back to Atlanta United, where we first signed him from back in 2019.
