👋 I have good news and bad news… do you remeber that Cissé wonder-goal against Chelsea? Well that was the last time we won at Stamford Bridge.

The good news… Gordon has officially put those disgusting Liverpool rumours to bed - let’s talk about it 👇

🗓️ ON THIS DAY

On this day in 2012, Newcastle secured a 1-0 victory against Club Brugge in the Europa League group stage. The Magpies fought hard to come away with three points, thanks to a Gabby Obertan finish following a brilliant link up between the Ameobi brothers.

📢 THE BIG STORY

The Rise of AG10: A Look at Gordon’s NUFC Past & Future 💫

I’m sure you’ve seen the news already and hopefully you’re all as buzzing as I am, but in case you managed to miss it… Gordon has just signed a new six-year contract with the club, keeping him in black and white until 2030! 🎉

The Rise of AG10! 💫

Since joining us from Everton in January 2023, Gordon has confidently silenced any early days doubts about his attitude and potential.

At first, some questioned whether he had the discipline and maturity to thrive at Newcastle.

As far as I’m concerned, he has since proven his dedication and passion for the club and the fans with his performances on the pitch as well as his gestures off it.

He’s transformed from a promising young talent into one of our key players, lighting up St. James' Park with his pace, skill and determined attitude - ending last season on 11 goals and 10 assists.

After the stunning Wor Flags display honoring him during the match against Manchester City, Gordon made his feelings towards the club crystal clear.

Expressing his deep gratitude for the unwavering support from the fans, stating that the tribute nearly brought him to tears.

Before the Brighton game last week, he once again reminded us why we love him, putting money behind the bar at The Strawberry to thank fans for their support after his devistating penalty miss at Everton.

“I'm very happy here, I like living here, the team is very suited to me and I'm here to win a trophy. The short story is we need to win a trophy.”

Contract news: what do we know? ✍️

Gordon's new contract is not just a formality; it appears to be a statement of intent.

With no release clause in sight, it shows a very welcome commitment to the club after all the Liverpool talk in the summer.

While we don’t have any details on new salary just yet, we do know he’ll be getting a well-deserved bump from his previous salary of around £60,000 a week.

Let’s get behind the lad and hopefully he can continue to perform as well as we all know he’s capable of! 💪

🤔 WHO AM I?

I joined Newcastle in the late 90s and quickly became a fan favorite with my flair and unpredictable style. Known for my quick feet, I often dazzled defenders with my dribbling skills. After leaving Newcastle, I went on to play for Tottenham and also represented my home country, France.
